SYSTEMS ADMINISTRATOR >

Position based in New York, NY

Trade Settlement Inc. is a leading provider of settlement solutions for the syndicated loan market. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company with a client list that includes many of the world's top financial institutions.

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Principle Responsibility for all Help Desk Operations (<40 Users)
• Responsibility for all PBX/Phone Systems Management
• Joint Responsibility for management and monitoring of corporate servers (file/email)
• Responsibility for building/imaging PC's, Laptops and Servers.
• Assist in the management of Production, Development and Test Servers

Experience Required:

• A minimum of 5 years IT experience
• Strong knowledge of and experience in MS Windows/Active Directory Domains & Networks
• Strong knowledge of MS Exchange (at least 2003, preferably 2007)
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking
• Experience with phone systems/PBX's.

The system administrator will be working daily with the following applications and platforms. Strong knowledge of any of these is a plus:

• Exchange 2007
• Citrix Platinum
• What's Up Gold
• MS Virtual Server and System Center Virtual Machine Manager
• SQL Server
• IIS/ASP.NET/Sharepoint
• Scriptlogic Desktop Authority
• Symantec Anti-virus, Counter Spy Enterprise, Sunbelt Ninja
• Diskeeper
• Fogbugz
• Source Gear Vault
• Dell Hardware & Management Software
• Firewalls, IPSEC VPN

We are a seeking a candidate with the following qualifications:

Strong knowledge of:

• Windows/IIS/SQL Server, Web Application Development
• ASP.Net 2.0/1.1
• Transact SQL and SQL Server Database architecture.
• VB.Net/C#/Javascript.

Experience with:

• XML data manipulation and translation
• Implementing web services on IIS.
• + 8 or more years experience in the above

Knowledge of the following applications/platforms is a strong plus:

• Biztalk
• LoanIQ
• Sharepoint
• Third party ASP.Net controls and development suites.

Subject matter expertise in:

• Document Management and Retention
• Financial Services Trading Platforms
• Syndicated Loans, Loan Processing
